It's apple picking time

Haralson, Regent, Honeygold, Keepsake, Honeycrisp, Zestar - it's that apple time of year again. A trip to a local orchard to pick-your-own or to pick up a bushel of already picked apples makes for a great family outing for a fall afternoon. There are many orchards ringing the metro area and many offer other apple products such as cider, apple butter, applesauce and apple pie.
