Description: Old fashion country-like atmosphere on the grounds of an apple orchard. Apples are our business-and we make our own fresh apple cider (september) and caramel apples. Sweet onions, cukes, tomatoes, garlic, squash, zucchini and peppers also are grown on site. Our shop is loaded with hand crafted decorative items and dried florals. Fall decorations including indian corn-fresh & dried gourds-pumpkins-bittersweet-and grasses. Bring the family and enjoy the outdoors and pick some fresh tasting apples.

Description: We are a young orchard, so as the years pass, we will have more trees bearing. We have more than 55 apple varieties, many or which are antique as well as many well known varieties. We have both yellow and white peaches and nectarines and several varieties of pears and plums. Located in the scenic, rolling hills of Madison County, we are blessed with an environment that is pleasing to the eye and ear as we have many bird friends and butterflies.
Apples: Grimes Golden, Newtown Pippen, Delicious, Arkansas Black, Empire, Early Harvest, Cameo, Gala, and Honeycrisp. Supplies of most are limited at this point in our growth.
Other fruit: Peaches, pears, plums, nectarines, apricots, sweet and sour cherries and blackberries. Producing peaches include Indian Cling, Alberta, and Bell of Georga. Producing pear varieties are Bartlett and Keifer.

Directions: Driving from Jefferson: Turn west at the intersection of Highway 4 and E-53 (at the Shell station). Continue heading west for approximately 3 miles. Turn left on K Avenue (South) and travel 1/4 mile.
Description: Deal's Orchard has approximately 45 acres of apple trees, with over 25 varieties of tasty Iowa apples available throughout the season. We crank up the cider press two to three times per week to make our own award-winning blend of fresh apple cider, yielding 30,000 to 35,000 gallons per year. Watching the cider-making process is one of the highlights for many visitors each year during our tours. For the last 20 years, we have celebrated the harvest with our Fall Festival This celebration brings thousands of visitors out to enjoy lots of fun activities "down on the farm". In the spring of 1999, we set out our first 750 Scotch Pine trees for Christmas Trees. You can look forward to cutting your own Christmas tree this year!
The Apple Barn and gift shop are open mid-July through mid-January. Available in season are tomatoes, sweet corn, cucumbers, cherries, onions, squash, pumpkins, etc. In addition to produce, we offer HOMEMADE apple pies & dumplings, jam, honey, caramel apples, popcorn, seasonal gift items, fall decor, woodcrafts, kitchen gadgets, gift baskets & much more.
