Directions: We are located 27 miles North of Evansville, Indiana. Travel North on US Hwy 41 to S.R.64 E. This is the Princeton Exit. Travel approximately 3 miles E. to Wilson Avenue. Turn left at the Bowling Alley. Travel North to T-road called Taft Twn road. Turn left go 1/4 mile to Carithers Road, turn Right. Travel approximately 4 miles to Schafer Orchards. We will have signs posted.
Description: 2008 will be our first year in operation. I don't expect we'll have many apples this year or next at this location. However, we have another location that should provide a good number of Red Delicious, Golden Delicious and Granny Smith. If god is willing we will have these for sale at the Carithers location starting late July early August. We anticipate having a good number of Pumpkins, Blueberries and Asparagus there as well. This will be our first year for Peach trees so I dont anticipate any peaches this year. I'm sorry we won't have everything for sale that was listed for this year, however we wanted to let everyone know we are opening our orchard up to the public and wanted to invite you to come visit us. I hope you like what you see and will continue to come back and visit us year after year.
