Directions: From Interstate 40 go West off of exit 263 (New Hope Church Road) towards Chapel Hill. Go to the stop sign 1.6 miles, then straight through, you are now on Arthur Minnis. Go another 1.5 miles to Union Grove Church Road, then turn left and go 1.5 miles. The farm is bounded by a stone fence and is on the right hand side of the road.
Description: Apples, Pears, Peaches, Plums, Persimmons, Apricots, PawPaws some grapes. The farm has a unique "Rental" plan allowing you to rent one tree but receive the equivalent poundage of produce from any other available fruit. Estimated first pick date will be during the 2012 growing season. In addition, Rental Owners will be invited to exclusive events on the beautifully landscaped 20 acre primary farm including 3 waterfalls, picnic areas, sculpted gardens and ponds. Some the events include a cider making day, applebutter day, Peach Preserve fest, and Pearrific canning day.
Apples: Candy Crisp, Granny Smith, UltraGold, UltraRed Gala...We are willing to plant suggested varietals, so feel free to make your request.
