Directions: From Points South or North. Take I-93 to Exit 15W, go to the end of the exit and take a right (this is North State Street). At the second set of lights (between the Sovereign Bank and Irving Gas Station) take a left onto Penacook Street. Follow road straight fro approximately 4 1/2 miles. Stay to the left of the V in the road. A half mile later, you'll see Carter Hill Orchard on the left.
Description: Carter Hill Orchard features pick-your-own apples and blueberries; peaches, plums, pumpkins that are grown on site; and other local fruits and vegetables available in our country store. Our on-site cider mill is in operation from Labor Day through Thanksgiving, and our on-site bakery cranks out fruit pies, cookies, whoopie pies, and sweet breads. Our country store also features many New Hampshire delicacies, including maple syrup, jams and jellies, and other local treats. Carter Hill Orchard is a family owned farm in Concord, New Hampshire. The Larocque family has owned the farm since 2001; however Rob Larocque and his family have been working the farm for decades. There has been an active orchard on Carter Hill since the mid 1700s. In the 1970s the orchard was bought from the Farnum brothers by Sunnycrest Farm Inc of Londonderry, NH and Rob Larocque became acting manager.
