Description: New Mexcio Apples are our Specialty. We work with Apples Growers all over the state. Ed is president of the NM Apple Council. Both Ed and Louella were raised in fruit orchards and love to grow and graft apples. They manage Orchards and Vineyards; Available as Consultants and Public Speakers. Our root stock and latest Orchard is in Edgewood along with other fruits and gardens all grown natural. A Cornicopia of fruits and vegetables available throughout the year. Ed has been a beekeeper for many years, offers fresh local honey & pollen by zipcode. Louella raises Am. Auruacan Chickens for the best tasty green shelled eggs and is know for her Heirloom blue corn meal and black beans and "manzania" the medicinal little green apple & Indian white peaches,and Lavander and many other herbs.
Apples: We offer from European Heirloom Varieties. Our trees are over 100 years old! to the latest "Akane" a new Chinese variety, one popular-the Arkansas Black Twing grown in the Manzano Mountains in high demand is available in limited quantities in Novermber. Others include: Royal Galas, Wonder Fuji, Granny Smith, Jonathan, Lodi, Mollies' Delicious, Early Gold, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Honeycrisp, Romes, Golden Supreme Ginger Gold, Northern Spy, and Stamen Winesap to name a few!

Description: Established in 1962, Costanza Orchard is home to over 1,000 apple trees nestled on 6 acres in the lowere Rio Grande Valley in NE Belen. We offer pure honey, bee pollen, fresh garden produce (grown in our eco-friendly garden). Educational field trips are offered April through October. We invite you to stroll through our orchard and experience life on the farm.

Description: For over 30 years Manzano Mountain Retreat has been a working apple ranch producing over 4,000 bushels of apples and 3,000 gallons of unbelievably delicious cider annually. Manzano Mountain Retreat is New Mexico's third largest apple producer with over 28 varieties offering the State's largest variety of apples. Due to apple varieties ripening at different times, our apples are generally available from mid-September through mid-November. Description: Romero's Orchard is owned and operated by Clovis J. Romero, one of the areas most respected and experienced fruit growers. Mr. Romero has been operating the orchard since 1964. The orchard was originally planted by his father Octaviano Romero in the early 1900's and has seen 1 replanting in the 1950's and a small scale replanting in the early 1970's after a very hard winter freeze. Romero's Orchard consists of 10 beautifully tended acres with roughly 330 trees nestled in the gorgeous Embudo Valley adjacent to the Rio Embudo. It's a short 30 minute drive north of Espanola and a short 45 minute drive south from Taos. There are breathtaking views of the nearby volcanic mesas and hills.
