All About Apples Sponsorship

All About Apples was started in early 2005 as a brainstorm of some small regional growers and web designers who wanted to build a website devoted solely to the educating the public about the fruit that has been a part of our lives since recorded time began. All About Apples is not owned by any state marketing board or grower group, but is run solely on a volunteer basis.

Researching, building, software/hosting fees, and maintaining the website in 2005 cost the volunteer group an estimated $40,000. While this cost has been written off by the volunteers, the site cannot continue on indefinitely under this scenario.

Therefore, starting in 2005 we are asking the apple community for their monetary support in order to help keep All About Apples online. The following levels of sponsorship are available to every entity.

Rates for 2005

Golden Apple sponsorship
$500 per year

  • Entity listed as Golden Apple sponsor in special sponsorship page, with special sponsor linkage throughout site and on future printed materials.
  • Company banner ad shown on home page.
  • Growers get premier listing in growers section. Non-growers get premier listing in links section.
  • 20% off any future web design or graphic design work.
  • Discounted web hosting fees ($120/year, $60 off standard rate).

Red Apple sponsorship
$250 per year

  • Entity listed as Red Apple sponsor in special sponsorship page with special sponsor linkage throughout site and on future printed materials.
  • Growers get secondary listing in growers section. Non-growers get secondary listing in links section.
  • 10% off any future web design or graphic design work.
  • Discounted web hosting fees ($140/year, $40 off standard rate).

Green Apple sponsorship
$100 per year

  • Entity listed as Green Apple sponsor in special sponsorship page with special sponsor linkage throughout site and on future printed materials.
  • Growers get special sponsor acknowledgement in growers section. Non-growers get special sponsor acknowledgement in links section.
  • 5% off any future web design or graphic design work
  • Discounted web hosting fees ($160/year, $20 off standard rate).
