All About Apples was started in early 2005 as a brainstorm of some small regional growers and web designers. Our goal is to build a website devoted to educating the public about the fruit that has been a part of our lives since recorded time began, and directing them to the local growers where they can pick up a bushel of their favorite varieties.

Why should I contribute?
As those of you with orchard websites can attest, designing and maintaining a website of this magnitude is not cheap. We receive a regular stream of emails from our readers thanking us for developing the site, and for the wide range of information we make available to them. We hope many of you also feel the same way about the site and would like to see us continue to grow to benefit the industry and promote all the great reasons to eat and buy apples produced by the hard working growers throughout the country.

• Ability to create and update a special "What's New at the Market" page tied to their listing. Golden Apple sponsors can choose to have us update their What's New page for them as well.
