(Also known as: Calville Blanc d'Hiver)
Parentage / Origin: Introduced 1598 France or Germany
Harvest / Season: Harvest: late October; Season: November-March
Description: Gourmet culinary apple of France, excellent for tarts. Good juice apple with more vitamin C than an orange. Good sauce and cooking apple as well. Fruit medium-large uniquely shaped, yellow / pale green with light red dots on sunny side. Flesh tender, sweet, juicy. Aromatic, spicy flavor.
Tree Characteristics: Tree does best in warm soil, against a sunny wall or bank. Precocious bearer.

Calville Rouge d'Automne
Parentage / Origin: France 1670
Harvest / Season:
Description: Large, with characteristic ribbed shape. Skin pale red with a tinge of yellow. Sweet, slight strawberry or vinous flavor; tender, juicy flesh. Good fresh and for baked apples, keeps its form with a smooth creamy texture.

Parentage / Origin: Originated as a chance seedling in a block of Red
Harvest / Season:
Description: Fruit is medium to large size with a crisp, creamy white flesh and a tangy flavor that seems to get better in storage. Keeps very well.
Tree Characteristics: A hardy and vigorous tree. Standard growth characteristics although it can be quite spurry.

Campfield
Parentage / Origin: New Jersey 1817
Harvest / Season:
Description: A cider apple of medium size. Skin is smooth and red, with small indistinct yellow spots and side away from the sun is typically greenish yellow. The flesh is white, firm, sweet and rich.   Form is round, flattened and somewhat sunk at the ends.
Tree Characteristics: Tree growth is vigorous.

Canada Reinette
Parentage / Origin: Normandy, 1777
Harvest / Season: Harvest: October, Season: November - February
Description: Excellent eating, good cooker and cider apple. Fruit medium to large, pale yellow skin with irregular patches of russet. Flesh firm, coarse, juicy, subacid, distinct aroma.

Description: Medium-sized, golden fruit flushed red and russeted. Sweet and aromatic.

Harvest / Season: Harvest: late August-early September, Season: till December
Description: Excellent eating apple, also for cooking.
Tree Characteristics: Tree has strong branching habit, ripens early.
