Parentage / Origin: Speculated to be seedling of Potts Seedling or Cox; Scotland, 1893
Harvest / Season: Harvest: September, Season: September - October
Description: Medium to large fruit, red flush over soft yellow flesh. Very juicy and acidic. Dessert, juice and cider apple. Doesn't keep well.
Tree Characteristics: Tree does well in a cool place, excellent producer.

Description: Choice early fall apple. Thin-skinned fruit, light red with darker red stripes. Flesh is juicy, crisp yet melting. Rich, pear-like flavor.
Tree Characteristics: Tree is hardy, scab and mildew resistant. Bears regularly and heavily.

Description: Medium sized red apple with yellow/green splashes. Flesh is crisp and juicy with a tart flavor. Does not store well.

Harvest / Season: Harvest: Mid September
Description: Medium size, bright red, fully or nearly fully colored. Flavor is Jonathan-like, but less acid. Keeps 10 weeks.
Tree Characteristics: Tree vigorous. Moderately spreading, fruits on spurs. Heavy annual crops. Precocious bearer. Scab resistant.

Description: Large fruit striped red over bright yellow. Firm, crackling, juicy, slightly tart, flesh. Superb, rich, full flavor. Finest dessert and eating quality. Good cooking properties. Will store in common refrigerator for 3 months.

Tree Characteristics: More vigorous than Jonagold. Semi-spur and standard spreading growth.

Jonalicious
Parentage / Origin:

Description: The perfect combination of sugar and spice - taste of Red Delicious and the tart freshness of Jonathan. A crisp texture makes it ideal for eating, cooking or fresh eating. Keeps extremely well. 2½ to 3 inch fruit is bright red with yellow under color.
Tree Characteristics: Disease resistant trees.

Jonamac
Parentage / Origin: McIntosh x Jonathan; Developed by the NY State Agricultural Experiment Station, introduced in 1972.
Harvest / Season: Harvest: September; Season: September
Description: Medium size, firm fruit with 90% dark red color over greenish background. Flesh firm, crisp, high quality with flavor similar to McIntosh.
Tree Characteristics: Medium size, productive, medium vigor tree. Hardy to -50 degrees with occasional winter injury. Fruit hangs well on the tree.

Description: Good eating and keeping apple. Medium-sized attractive fruit, striped red with high colour in spots. Flesh juicy and crisp. flavor refreshing and subacid.
Tree Characteristics: Tree naturally small, bears young, heavy crops. Self-fertile, better when cross-pollinated.

Description: It has the crisper texture of the Baldwin combined with the Jonathon's distinctive aromatic flavor, and is a brighter red than either.

Description: Juicy, hard, red russet. Excellent keeper. Makes delicious cider.
Tree Characteristics: Hardy to -50 degrees.

Jubilee
Parentage / Origin: McIntosh x Grimes Golden; Summerland Research Station, B.C., 1926
Harvest / Season: Harvest: October, Season: October- February
Description: Multi-use apple. Medium to large fruit, yellow overspread with deep red. Firm, crisp, juicy flesh. Juicy, subacid flavor.

Description: Very attractive, large, red fruit. Strongly scented with vinous or loganberry flavor; sweet, soft, juicy, white flesh.
