Description: Medium size fruit is very similar in appearance to Granny Smith. Flesh is creamy light green and has a coarse texture with a sprightly flavor similar to Macintosh.

Smokehouse
Parentage / Origin:
Open pollinated seedling of Vandevere; Pennsylvania, 1837
Harvest / Season: Harvest: Sept/October, Season: October - February
Description: Large, flattish shape, yellow flushed and striped red. Flesh crisp, yellowish, moderately fine-grained. Fresh cider flavor. Very good quality cooking, eating, and baking apple. Keeps well through March.

Vigorous tree. Bears young, quite productive and a reliable bearer.

Description: Continues to be the most russest-resistant Golden Delicious strain, allowing quality Goldens to be grown where proneness to russetting would otherwise prohibit Golden production. Essentially the same as Golden Delicious except for skin smoothness and russet resistance.
Tree Characteristics:
Like Golden Delicious, one of the most productive, consistent bearers of all apple varieties. Trees are easy to train, only moderately hardy.

(Also known as: Fameuse, Snow Apple)

Description: Small to medium sized fruit with beautiful red over cream skin. Name comes from it's pure white flesh occasionally stained crimson near the skin. Soft flesh with an aromatic, distinctive flavor. Used for eating and is excellent for cider.

Biennial bearing. Very hardy, long lived, healthy tree.
