Description: Very deep, dark maroon to purple color. Highly aromatic. Crisp and juicy, richly flavorful with acid component. Outstanding flavor retention when cooked. Keeps about 1 month.
Tree Characteristics:
Vigorous, large-leaved, lanky, open-growing tree allows fruit to nearly bake in hot weather, causing internal breakdown. Apples must be picked daily in high temperatures.
